Serock commune flag

[Serock flag] by Jarig Bakker, 1 Aug 2002.

Serock is in Legionowo county, 30 km north of Warsaw. The Town and Commune colours are light blue, white and red arranged in parallel strips. The top one, which takes up seven twelfth of the flag's width, is blue. There are three other strips: golden, white and red, each of them taking up one twelfth of the width. The bottom strip is blue and takes up two twelfth of the width. The colours make components of the Town and Commune's flag. The flag of the Town and Commune is a rectangular piece of fabric in official colours situated at the top of the mast in front of the seat of local authorities. The flag is raised in front of seats of local authorities' organs, however, on the occasion of holidays, celebrations and local anniversaries flags are also put up on other buildings in public places to emphasise the solemn character of the days.
