Harasiuki commune flag

[Harasiuki commune flag] by Pascal Gross, 2 Nov 2002

Here is the brand new flag and Arms of HARASIUKI - a rural commune in Nisko County, Podkarpackie Vojvodship.
I don't have an explanation of the symbols used, but the flag and arms were accepted by the Commune Council on October 9, 2002 (Law # XXX/185/2002) - info from this site.

Harasiuki sounds Japanese to me :o)

Actually it is Ukrainian - Lemko. Hrasiuki commune. Lemko is another term for Ruthenians/Rusin who live in Eastern Slovakia,
southeast Poland and Western Ukraine, as wel as in Yugoslavia (Vojvodina mainly). More on this website. Former name: Krzeszow.
