Utuado - In 5 January 1987, Utuado's City Council adopted its flag. The upper green band represents the green mountains; the brown band at the center symbolizes the rich land of Utuado, and the light blue lower band is symbol of the rivers and lakes of this land. The Otoao Sun at the center is copy of one of the most important of our indigenous culture, our Tai'no culture. The artisan Luis E. Lafontaine designed the flag.
