It is a quite typical portuguese municipal flag, with the coat of arms
centered on a plain green background. The coat of arms is or, a tower gules
under a Avis cross (vert fleury) and between a
two parassol pine trees proper, on each of which perches an owl proper.

The arms might be canting, provided that between the words "coruche"
and "coruja" (="owl") is more than just a surface similarity.
