About the flag

Arms: Argent, castle tower sable, open, litten and lined argent between a sword-cross of the Santiago order dexter and a figure of a woman in local costume sinister, in chief or, four ears of corn grained or and leaved vert. Mural crown with four visible towers argent and white scroll reading "VILA DE FERREIRA DO ALENTEJO" in black capitals. Flag is plain green.

Ferreira do Alentejo is a medium sized town, capital of a municipality with 648 km2 and 9790 inhabitants in 6 communes. It is located currently in the Beja district and once belonged to the Baixo Alentejo province.
