The flag is a gironny of white and purple.

This depiction, from the Municipal
website, is a good proof that you shouldn’t believe everything you see on the
web. This image is a very wrong depiction of the flag of Loule. I should know —
Loulé is at about 10 km from where I’m writing and I’ve seen the flag in the cloth
(and photos of it). It also proves that even municipal websites bring wrong info
and/or pictures. If I recall correctly, this site had been reported already a long
time ago. Sad that it remains the same…

Reported erroneous versions with white
and purple instead.

I failed so far to see the new logo on a flag. It is also
triangular, but follows more closely the new trends of “logology”, that is, is a
bunch of seemingly hand-drawn lines and shapes. If it comes out to be included in a
flag, I assume it will be a white flag, since that is the colour that gets a better
harmony with the thing.

The old logo on bedsheet is a blue field with "TERRA DE
LOULÉ" in white capitals below a triangular logo showing a stylized
landscape of the region.
