About the flag

It is a quite typical portuguese municipal flag, with the coat of arms centered on a background quartely (town rank) of yellow and green. The coat of arms is sable, on a fess argent two trees proper, in chief a tower argent with purple windows, between two bundles of wheath, of three ears each, or tied purple, in base on a wavy fess azure fimbriated argent, tree fish of the same naiant dexter. Mural crown argent with four visible towers (town rank), and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "VILA DE ODEMIRA".
