Municipal flag of Bohinj

The coat of arms and flag of Bohinj are prescribed by decision Odlok o grbu i zastavi Občine Bohinj, adopted on 15 June 1995 and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 44/1995, 28 June 1995.

The flag is in proportion 1:3, horizontally divided white-blue, with the coat of arms in the middle, whose size is prescribed to be 61 x 76 % of the hoist. There is no official interpretation of the flag colours, but I guess they are explained as snow-clad mountains above the lake.
The colours are prescribed as follows:

  • Green: Pantone Process Green
  • Blue: Pantone Process Blue
  • Red: Pantone 185 C or Pantone 185
  • White: 100%.
