Krásnohorské Podhradie flag

[Krásnohorské Podhradie flag] by István Molnár, 25 Jan 2002

Krasnohorske Podhradie - Krasznahorkavaralja village, Roznava district (SK) has 2300 inhabitants and it is the second largest village in the Rožňava region. The village is located near Rožňava / Rozsnyó town in a beautiful basin. Southof the village is the Szoroska Pass. The name of the village means: settlement under castle of Krasznahorka. Krasna  Horka means: Beautiful Hill (in Slovakian). On this website is its short description, the CoA and the original version of the vlajka. The original picture contains light grey not white because it is on a white page. The colours of the CoA are same as the colours of the flag. My GIF is white coloured not light grey.
