The Gonfalon

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
It was confirmed at April, 28th, 1995 by the decision of III city council session of XXII convocation. The square panel is divided into 4 identical square fields, in top from a staff red is a white paty cross, in bottom from free edge blue is white ruins of castle tower on green mountain, others two fields are yellow. The authors are V.Bobchuk and O.Ptashkin.

"On the 28th of April 1995 town council session confirmed a modern emblem - in an azure field on a vert hill there is an argent half-destroyed fortress. In the canton there is Volyn' emblem."
