"Square crimson panel, on which face sheet on perimeter the framework (width 1/10 gonfalone's sizes) with embroidered gold ornament as the stylized branches of a guelder-rose with gold border. In the corners of a framework are the images of the cossack's crosses embroidered by gold. In the centre of a panel is the emblem of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine - a symbol Ukrainian Army, imposed on crossed gold mace (scope of a cross is equal 4/5 width of a panel). The gold sword is imposed on a cross on a vertical by an edge upwards. On the edges gonfalone embroidered by a gold fringe. Both sides of a panel are identical. The size is 90X90 cm.
Gonfalone is handed to the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, general of army of Ukraine O.Shkidchenko at December, 5, 2001 on the 10-th anniversary of the Ukrainain Army celebration."

Deputy Minister of Defence

"Gonfalone of the chief of the Headquarter - the first deputy minister of defense of Ukraine. Square crimson panel with the emblem of Headquarter in the center. There is Ukrainian Army symbol which placed on the gold crossed swords edges upwards. The gold stylized wings and an anchor are imposed on a cross. On edges the panel are gold fringe. Both sides of the panel are identical. The size is 90X90 cm. Gonfalone is handed to the chief of the Headquarter, general-colonel P.Shuljak at December, 5, 2001 on the 10-th anniversary of the Ukrainain Army celebration."

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"The flag of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine from December 19, 2000 N 1346/2000. It represents a cyan square panel by the size 130X130 cm. There is emblem on face side of a flag. In all corners of a panel the maps are gold garlands from oak and laurel leafage, in center which one are argent letters "MVD". The author is O.V.Rudenko.
The back side of the flag contains an argent octagonal radiative aster with round crimson round in center. On its background is placard by white characters "The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine". Symbol is framed by a gold garland with the map of oak and laurel leafage. In all corners of a panel are the gold garlands from oak and laurel leafage, and in center of garlands is the St.Michael."

The Flag

"It was confirmed by the Decree N 950/2003 President of Ukraine from September 1st, 2003. The flag is a rectangular panel of white colour with a ratio of the parties 2:3. At the centre of a panel is the Ministry emblem. Height of emblem makes 2/3 heights of a panel, and width - 1/2 width of a panel. The wreath diameter makes 1/4 width of a panel. Both parties of a panel are identical."

Minister's Gonfalon

"It was confirmed by the Decree N 950/2003 President of Ukraine from September 1st, 2003. Gonfalone is the white square panel by the size 90X90 cm. with the mark of the Ministry of Ukraine of Emergencies and Affairs of Population Protection from Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe emblem. A panel on perimeter enframed by gold and ornamental pattern from oak and viburnum foliage. The free gonfalone ends are decorated by gold fringe.
The contemporary side has no images. Flagstaff is black and wooden. On the flagstass top is sagittate from yellow metal, at the centre of it is heraldry sign of the Ministry of Ukraine of Emergencies and Affairs of Population Protection from Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe. The top edge of a gonfalone is attached to pipe by cord".

"It was confirmed by the Decree N 950/2003 President of Ukraine from September 1st, 2003. The arms is argent round board with or binding, on which background is gules paty cross with or borders. In the center of the cross is or fascia and round azure medallion bordered by or oak leaves, placed in the center of a cross. On a medallion is the element of the small State Emblem of Ukraine - or Tryzyb. On the sides of rhe cross are two azure triangular, between sides are gules fire with or borders".
