Allied Democratic Movement

The flag of the Allied Democratic Movement / Army (ADF) is at this website. The ADM is a movement hostile to the Tutsi-dominated Rwandan refugees in Uganda according to their manifesto and of course to the "Museveni’s dictatorship".

Following information on Flag Report 23 the ADM (popularly know as Allied Democratic Forces) had some success, after 1996 in South West Uganda, near the Congo frontier. Was a union of several small groups:  Tabliq (extreme muslims), National Army for the Liberation of Uganda; and soldiers of the fallen governments of Rwanda (hutus) and Zaire
(for Mobutu). The leader was the analphabet Jamil Makulu (according to their website there is now a different chairman and general secretary). Financed by the sect  Salaf Muslim, (from Iran and Sudan). Their support came mainly from muslims and
it has control over a zone in the frontier with Congo. After 1998 received important help from Kinshasa government and the attacks on the distric of Western Uganda intensified after 1998.
