History of the flag

While the flag of the Arapaho was first considered during the second World War, it was not until June 15, 1956 that one was adopted by the tribal elders. It consists of seven stripes, the central being 1/6 the size of the other stripes. The hoist consists of a triangle edged in black with an semi-circle of red over black, separated by a white band.
