According to the Madison Courier, Trimble County KY has adopted a new flag:
The Bedford Rotary Club sponsored a contest, which invited Trimble residents to
submit a county flag design to be chosen by the Trimble County Fiscal Court. The
Court chose a flag designed by Betty Johnson Temple from three submissions.
Temple's design contains at the four corners an apple, peach and other
agricultural crops keeping with the tradition of Trimble County, Yenowine said.
A tobacco plant is also represented on the flag for historical value, he added.
The flag has a gold border and blue background. Also, the flag contains the
founding year of the county, 1876, and the years each city in the county was
incorporated.
