David Hill, Human Resources Director, appeared before the Board to present ideas
for redesigning the County’s flag. He said that, during the 2000 NACo conference
in Mecklenburg County, Caldwell County’s flag was the only one of all the
counties on display that did not have its name referenced anywhere on the flag,
