Description

This is the flag of the Episcopal Diocese of Philadelphia. It hangs inside the Christ Church in Philly at 2nd and Church Streets. The church was built between 1727 and 1754. George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Betsy Ross all have their own pews.

The flag has a St. George's Cross surrounded by a thick black border. At the center of the vertical column of the cross are three gold crowns, each with 3 points. Within the black border are ten white circles, one in each corner, one each at the ends of the horizontal bar of the cross, and two each spaced apart atop the vertical column of the cross.
