Alpha Tau Omega

Alpha Tau Omega dates to 1865, when it was founded at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia. The flag is basically a banner of the fraternity's coat of arms, rotated 90 degrees: three horizontal stripes of gold, blue, and gold, with a vertical blue stripe in the hoist bearing three gold stars. (The arms are "or a pale and on a chief azure three mullets of the field.") The colors of the fraternity are officially sky blue and gold, but representations of the arms always show the azure as dark blue, so I have followed suit for the flag.
