Tau Kappa Epsilon

Tau Kappa Epsilon is the largest fraternity in terms of number of active chapters, with more than 300. It was founded as the Knights of Classic Lore at Illinois Wesleyan University in 1899. The flag, adopted in 1961, is cherry red with a gray stripe running from upper hoist to lower fly, and on the stripe five voided cherry red equilateral triangles. This is a banner of the fraternity's coat of arms.
