Overview

Flag and Coat of Arms of Simón Rodríguez Municipality, whose Capital is the City of El Tigre (Tiger City) on Anzoátegui State, to the East of Venezuela:
The Flag   - Attributes and Semiology:   Consists of a field with ratio 2:3; this is, square and half of length divided in three horizontal and equal stripes whose colors from above to below are sky blue, green and black intercalled with two white fimbrations. Completes the design the Coat of Arms of the Municipality off- centered  to the hoist.   The sky blue stripe remembers the radiating sky of Mesa de Guanipa (Guanipa’s hill); the green one alludes to the Prosperity of the agricultural cultives; the black stripe symbolizes the petroliferous wealth of the region and the white ones, the Integrity of its inhabitants. The Coat of Arms of the Municipality rebounds the local gentilitious.
