Pennant of the Reyes Católicos (Catholic Kings) - 1492, Was
one of whom Columbus brought to America. It appears on the book
"Flags of Spain" by Mr. Luís Grávalos.

Flag hoisted by Lope de Aguirre, called "The
Tyrant"(1561) - Presumed to be a personal emblem of this
Spaniard Conqueror during his bloody acts in Venezuela. The word
SIGO means something like "I'm continue forwar" in
English. The flag is uncertain and subject to further
investigation.

General Captainship of Venezuela, 1777, is refers by Mr. Jaume
Olle on his site "Historical Flags" mentioned like
sources a flag depicted by Norrie/Hobbs (Flags of All Seafaring
Nations, 1848, sheet XXIII) and Mr. Jens Pattke, who as well
found it in SIEBMACHER, Johannes; GRITZNER, Maximillian / Neuer
Siebmacher Band I, Abteilung 6 / Bauer and Raspe Nurernberg, 1
Edition, 1878. Until now, in Venezuela and Spain does not seem
exist any specialized registry that guarantees its existence.

Flag hoisted by Jose Leonardo Chirinos, 1795, is refers by
Prof. Vinicio Romero Martinez (Venezuelan Historian) under
presumption of the existence of a document in which a Colonial
Spanish official the appointment like a "purple remainder
cloth" raised on that revolt.
