Flag: A square flag; white and red divided vertically, with a red and white border, with a counterchanged maple leaf.

The Canadian Flag Association (CFA) was founded in Vancouver, BC, in February 1985 by a small group of members of the North American Vexillological Association of that city: Doreen Braverman, flag manufacturer, Kathy Kew, student, and the late Dr. Wolf Lincke, jurisprudent and artist. In 20 years, the membership has risen from 11 to 250 - in Canada, the U.S. and twenty other countries. Flagscan has a press run of 300. Kevin Harrington, in Toronto, is president of CFA and editor of Flagscan.
