Description of the flag

Lint is located in the arrondissement of Antwerp.

The flag is yellow with a red cross and a blue fleur-de-lys in each quarter. it is based on the municipal coat of arms: Or, a cross Gules, four Azure fleurs-de-lis in quarters. The shield is surmounted with a helmet Argent, fretty and bordered Or, lined Gules, with mantling Or and Gules. Crest: a cross Argent over 8 plumes, two of which iArgent, two iAzure, two Vert and Or and two Or and Gules.

The flag was adopted by the authorities of the commune on the 22nd March1982, officialised with Ministerial ordinance on 10th March 1987, the description was improved by the authorities of the commune on 26th October 1992, this officialised by Ministerial ordinance of 1st March 1993.
The coat of arms was adopted by the authorities of the commune on the 5th April 1965, officialised with Royal Ordinance on 12th February 1968, the description was improved by the authorities of the commune on 26th October 1992, this officialised by Ministerial ordinance of 1st March 1993.
