Description of the flag

Stabroek is located in the arrondissement of Antwerp. Stabroek was the original name of Georgetown (Guyana).

The flag is horizontally divided yellow-blue (or black), with a blue eight-pointed star in the yellow stripe, a yellow eight-pointed star in the blue stripe, and a horizontally divided blue-yellow star placed over the yellow and blue stripes. The three stars constitute a triangle, the two monochrimous stars being placed vertically along the hoist

The flag was adopted by Municipal decision 6 April 1987, and confirmed by Ministerial decision April 1987.
