Description of the flag

Begijnendijk (9,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Leuven. The name of the place means "dyke of the Beguins*".

The flag is: Party per pale, Azure and Or, in escutcheon Argent a fleur-de-lys Azure. Proportions are 2:3

The flag was adopted on 7 July 1987.
