Description of the flag

De Pinte (10,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Ghent. The municipality got its name from a pub in a small hamlet.

The flag is: Party per fess Gules and Argent, in escutcheon Gules, three eight-pointed stars (2:1) Or, twelve blocks Argent (4:1:8). Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 3 June 1985.
