Description of the flag

Horebeke (2,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Oudenaarde.

The flag is: Or, a double edge, with eight fleur-de-lys sinople; over it a chevron gules. The fleur-de-lys at the corners point outwards, the fleur-de-lys in the middle of each side inwards. The chevron touches the inner edge at the middle of the upper part. Proportions are 2:3 and approximately 10:3:3:3:42:3:3:3:10 for the edges.

The flag was adopted on 11 May 1986.

This might be better blazoned as simply "Or, a tressure fleury counterfleury Vert, debruised by a chevron Gules".
