Description of the flag

Zuienkerke (2,700 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Bruges.

The flag is: Quarterly; I Argent, a cross Sable, with five shells Argent, in the canton a blackbird Gules; II a lion-head voyant Argent, tongued Gules, a necklace with cross Or, crowned of the same, between two crosiers Argent; III Gules, two swords downwards per saltire Argent and Or; IV Argent, an open cross Gules, two blackbirds Sable. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 9 May 1989.
