Gesves (4,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Namur.
The flag is quartered yellow and blue with an escutcheon quartered, firstly and fourthly blue with a cross yellow and thirteen yellow crosses (3:2:3:2:3) in each corner, secondly and thirdly white with a red bend charged with three yellow stars.
The flag was adopted on 18 December 1991.
