Flagdescription: "List tvoří šest vodorovných pruhů, modrý a střídavě
zelené a bílé v poměru 5:1:1:1:1:1. Z horního zeleného pruhu vyrůstá v
žerďové polovině bílý Pegas se žlutou korunou, zbrojí a červeným jazykem.
Poměr šířky k délce listu je 2:3."
That's about Pegasus, the mythical winged horse, offspring of Poseidon
and Medusa, faithful companion of Bellerophon. His hoofprint made the spring
of Hippocrene (sacred to the Muses), which gave gift of song to those who
drank of it.
The same Pegasus features on the flag of Komňa
(Uherske Hradiste okres, Zlin region).
1 943 inhabitants - Originally a Renaissance chateau was in 1720 rebuilt
in Baroque style. French Baroque garden with alleys meeting at the place
of the central pavilion from 1766. The garden continues as a pheasantry.
The chateau area is completed by chestnut alleys leading to the chateau.
Baroque church of All Saints from 1697 - 1701 with valuable interior is
surrounded by a wall with eight Baroque sculptures by sculptors who worked
on decoration of the chateau.There is also a Baroque parsonage and many
