one may find decision: Odluka o osnivanju Povjerenstva za
utvrdivanje prijedloga grba i zastave Opcine Brckovljani,
02.05.2002. Sluebni glasnik Opcine Brckovljani, br. 5/02
This reveals that in May 2002 the community formed a commission
to determine a proposal for the coat of arms and the flag. This
means, I guess, that the community is still way from getting the
symbols, but at least they made the first steps on that way.

Brckovljani is a community in Zagreb County with slightly over
5,000 inhabitants (1991 census), while the main vilage of the
same name had merly 700 inhabitants. The Brckovljani Community is
on the main road between Zagreb and Dugo Selo.
Some time ago I reported that the community established a
commission to adopted the symbols. Now, they did. According to a
news article "Opcina Brckovljani dobila grb i zastavu",
Dugoselska kronika, br. 450, 20. 03. 2004 available on line on
<www.brckovljani.hr>
the community assembly adopted the symbols on 3 March 2004.
The coat of arms is divided per bend or and vert, overall a
Maltese cross argent and over it a cup or, in chief siniter a
wheat stalk and in base dexter a bunch of grapes both also or.
The bunch of grapes and the wheat both have 13 elements for the
13 vilages composting the community. The Maltes cross reminds on
the Order of St. John that had a monastery in Brckovljani, and
the cup stand for the vine industry developed there.
The flag is red with the coat of arms in the middle and the name
of the community below.
