Hof van Twente municipality
Hof van Twente is the result of a merger of the former municipalities of
Ambt
Delden, Diepenheim, Goor,
Markelo
and Stad Delden on 1 Jan 2001. The municipality
consists of Bentelo, Delden (seat), Diepenheim, Goor, Hengevelde en Markelo,
totalling 35.000 inhabitants. Hof van Twente does not have its own municipal
flag and CoA. Designs are being prepared now. CoA and flag will ultimately
be decided upon by the High Council of Nobility.

Description: Azure two erased linden-trees or and in an enlarged inescutcheon
gules a cross argent with in the first and fourth quarter a medlar-flower
argent barbed vert, and in the second and third quarter a bear's paw or;
the shield is surmontée of a crown or of five leaves.
