Description of the flag

In 29 June 2000 Altai kray adopted a flag. Following other regions, it adopted the pattern of the old SSR Russia, with coa in center. In the blue band is a spike of wheat. Blue and red parts are separated by a very narrow band which is (of course) white.
Jaume Ollé, 09 Aug 2000

In Vexilologie 120 [vex]: 2245-2246, there is an article by Mikhail Revnivtsev about some Russian regional flags [rev01]. It says the blue and red stripes are 1:5, there is no white stripe, the ear should be yellow (i.e. probably without red pattern). Adopted 04-07-2000.
